The L-Acoustics SB18 subwoofers work particularly well with systems in applications where extended bandwidth is handy. The SB18’s incorporate high excursion drivers, ultra-low vibration walls and laminar airflow L-Vents with a flared profile, resulting in dramatic reduction of port noise, maximised dynamics and power handling and an exceptional level of performance. The SB18 subs can be deployed in diverse modes, making them versatile enough to address any rental or fixed installation application. The LA8 amplified controller encompasses cutting edge loudspeaker amplification, DSP, network and high-grade 24 bit A/D converters with 130 dB dynamic range. It’s a 4 channel high efficiency amplifier section fed by 2 inputs and includes the complete onboard L-ACOUSTICS preset library.
